Partner With Us

Partnership

Partner with a team that puts your support in front of patients

AFCA is a small, clinician-led organisation with very low overheads. Our doctors, nurses and pharmacists volunteer their time, which means partner contributions go almost entirely into the things that cannot be donated as labour: medicine, diagnostics, transport and equipment.

For a company, a hospital, a supplier or a council, that makes AFCA an unusually direct route from contribution to visible outcome — a specific community, on a specific day, with a specific number of people treated.

  • Volunteer clinical model keeps overheads low
  • Support is tied to identifiable campaigns and communities
  • Reporting provided back to partners after each campaign
  • Registration and governance documents available on request
Alliance For Community AwarenessFree medical campaigns across Cameroon’s ten regions — consultation, screening, testing and prescribed medication, at no cost to the patient.
Who we work with

Partners we are looking for

Different organisations help in very different ways. All of them shorten the distance between a patient and a doctor.

Hospitals and clinics

Referral pathways for patients we cannot treat on the day, loan of equipment, and clinicians released to join campaigns.

Pharmaceutical suppliers and distributors

In-date medication and consumables. This is the single most valuable in-kind contribution AFCA can receive.

Companies and CSR programmes

Funding a named campaign, sponsoring medication for a community, or contributing transport, printing and logistics.

Councils, chiefdoms and health districts

Co-hosting outreach, identifying communities in greatest need, providing venues and mobilising residents in advance.

Faith organisations and schools

Venues, volunteers, and trusted local reach into communities that formal outreach struggles to contact.

NGOs and development partners

Joint campaigns, shared logistics, complementary programmes in nutrition, water, sanitation and maternal health.

What partnership looks like

Practical ways to work together

Type of supportWhat it means in practice
Campaign sponsorshipYou fund a named outreach in a specific community. We report back on where it ran, what was delivered and how many people were seen.
Medication supplyYou donate in-date medicines, test kits or consumables. We tell you in advance what the next campaign actually needs, so nothing is wasted.
Equipment provisionDurable items — blood pressure monitors, glucometers, scales, lamps — that serve campaign after campaign rather than a single day.
Staff volunteeringYour clinical staff join a campaign as AFCA volunteers. Meaningful for employee engagement and immediately useful to us.
Referral partnershipYour facility accepts referrals for patients needing surgery, imaging or specialist care that an outreach clinic cannot provide.
Venue and mobilisationCouncils, chiefdoms, schools and places of worship provide the space and get word out so the right people attend.
Logistics and transportVehicles, fuel or freight to move a clinical team and its supplies to communities that are hard to reach.
What you can expect

What AFCA commits to in return

Partnership is a two-way arrangement. Organisations that support us are entitled to know exactly what happened with their contribution.

An honest assessment up front

We will tell you what we actually need rather than accepting whatever is offered. If your proposed contribution is not useful, we will say so and suggest what would be.

Documentation for due diligence

Registration certificates, governance details and organisational information provided on request, so your compliance team can do its job.

Reporting after the campaign

Where the outreach ran, what was delivered, and what your contribution covered.

Appropriate acknowledgement

Recognition of your organisation in campaign communications, at a level you are comfortable with — including none, if you prefer to give quietly.

Before you commit

Reputable partners should ask questions before funding any NGO. We welcome them. Ask us for:

  • Certificate of registration and legal status
  • Names and roles of the leadership team
  • How funds and in-kind donations are handled
  • Reporting you will receive, and when
  • References from previous partners
