Your gift pays for the part that cannot be volunteered
Clinicians give their time. Medicines, tests, transport and materials have to be bought — and they are the reason a campaign either happens or is postponed.
AFCA does not charge patients anything: not for registration, not for the consultation, not for a test, not for the medicine they leave with. That promise only holds if someone else covers the cost. That is what a donation to AFCA does.
Medication and consumables
The drugs dispensed free on the day, plus gloves, syringes, dressings and antiseptics. This is consistently the single largest line in a campaign budget.
Diagnostics and screening
Malaria rapid tests, blood glucose strips, blood pressure monitoring and other point-of-care testing, so that treatment follows a result rather than a guess.
Transport and logistics
Getting the team, the equipment and a cold-chain-safe medicine stock to communities that are difficult to reach, and getting everything back again.
Health education materials
Printed guidance in the languages people actually read, so households keep something useful after the last patient has been seen.
Venue and site set-up
Making a school hall or town hall into a clinic for a day: screened consultation spaces, seating, lighting, water and a dispensing point.
Referral follow-up
Supporting the patients whose condition needs a hospital, so a written referral becomes an appointment actually attended rather than a piece of paper.
Choose the channel that suits you
Cash gifts, standing monthly support and in-kind donations are all genuinely useful. Medicines and diagnostics are the most consistently needed.
| Channel | Details |
|---|---|
| Mobile money MTN Mobile Money / Orange Money |
Our current mobile money details are confirmed directly by the team before any transfer. Call or WhatsApp +237 6 79 62 34 55 and we will send them to you in writing, then confirm receipt once your transfer arrives. |
| Bank transfer Domestic and international |
Bank account details are issued on request so that we can match your transfer to a named campaign and send you the reconciliation afterwards. Contact us and we will provide them. |
| Monthly giving | A committed monthly amount is the most valuable form of support we receive, because it lets us buy medicines ahead of a campaign instead of waiting to see what comes in. Tell us the amount and the date that suits you and we will set it up. |
| Medicines and consumables | Donations in kind are welcome from pharmacies, distributors and manufacturers. All items must be unexpired, correctly labelled and accompanied by documentation; we will confirm what is currently needed before you ship anything. |
| Equipment | Blood pressure monitors, glucometers and strips, weighing scales, thermometers, rapid test kits, examination lamps and basic furniture. Working, serviceable items only. |
| Services and facilities | Transport, secure storage, a suitable venue, printing, translation, or professional time in law, accountancy or communications. These reduce the cash cost of a campaign directly. |
| Sponsor a whole campaign | A company, diaspora association, church or foundation can underwrite one complete campaign in a named community, and receive a full report on what their funding delivered. Speak to us about partnership. |
Completing a gift
Tell us what you want to give
Use the form on this page, or call and WhatsApp us. Say whether you are giving cash, goods or services, roughly what scale you have in mind, and whether you want it directed to a particular community.
We confirm what is actually needed
We will tell you what the next campaign requires and whether your gift fits it. If we cannot use something well, we will say so rather than accept it.
Details are issued and the gift is made
We send you the relevant payment or delivery details in writing, from a named person at AFCA, and agree the timing with you.
Acknowledgement and reporting
Every gift is acknowledged in writing. Donors are told which campaign their support went to and what it paid for, and larger or restricted gifts receive a written report once the campaign is closed out.
Protect yourself against fraud
AFCA will never contact you out of the blue demanding an urgent transfer, and will never ask you to send money to a personal account belonging to an individual. Payment details are only ever issued in response to a conversation you started, from a named member of the team. If something feels wrong, stop and call +237 6 79 62 34 55 to verify before sending anything.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or share donor details with anyone. We do not publish a donor’s name without their written agreement. And we do not accept a donation that comes with conditions we cannot meet clinically or ethically. Read our privacy policy and our transparency and governance page.
Not sure cash is the right thing?
Many of AFCA’s most useful contributions have never been money — a stock of unexpired medicines, a vehicle for two days, a hall, or a pharmacist’s afternoon. See the full range of ways to support a campaign.
Tell us what you would like to give
A member of the team will reply with exactly what is needed and how to complete your gift. There is no minimum, and no obligation.

Every campaign begins with someone deciding to fund it
A community only gets a free clinic for the day because a donor covered the medicines the week before. That is the whole mechanism, and it is why your gift matters.
