Thank you — your message has reached us
A member of the AFCA team will read it personally. We are a volunteer organisation, so replies come from people who also see patients, but nothing sent to us is ignored.
Depending on what you sent us
You offered to volunteer
We will confirm receipt and ask for proof of qualification and current licence if you are applying for a clinical role. Once verified you go onto the roster and are invited to campaigns as they are scheduled. There is no minimum commitment and you decide each time.
You offered support or a donation
We will tell you what the next campaign actually needs before you send anything, and issue any payment or delivery details in writing from a named person. Every gift is acknowledged, and you will be told which campaign it went to.
You requested a campaign
We will come back to you about authorisation, a suitable venue, and honestly about timing — which depends on funding for medicines being confirmed. We do not fix a date we are not certain we can deliver.
You are a partner, funder or journalist
Partnership and media enquiries are prioritised. If you have a deadline, say so and we will work to it. Documents such as reports and registration details are sent on request.
Before you send money to anyone
AFCA will never contact you unprompted demanding an urgent transfer, and will never ask you to pay into an individual’s personal account. If you receive a message claiming to be from us and something feels wrong, stop and verify by calling +237 6 79 62 34 55.
